Worked 25 years as studio/workshop technician at Burnley School of Art followed by periods as Landscape gardener, taxi driver, stained glass operative, and presently part time courier.
Throughout the years since the Slade, I have continued to work on my sculpture, developing a personal three -dimensional language and vision. Most of my work is modelled in clay or plaster and cast into resin and fibreglass. I also love the process of woodcarving and over time have produced a body of sculpture pieces carved from logs. I continue to have visual conversations with my artworks and ongoing changes and modifications are normal, seeking that elusive vision.
